Unfortunately my family was brought together this past weekend at the death of my grandmother. Whenever you get this family all in one place, it's always a good time, no matter the circumstances. There is nothing like a silly little 5 year old to put a smile on your face.

Rain Rain go Away!

You would not believe the dark skys and rain we have had for the past week. I have had NO good light in the house, and everything is to wet and muddy to go outside for some pictures. I am going stir crazy just sitting here looking at my camera. So I messed around with this picture a little. It is from a couple weeks ago when we went to the Botanic Gardens to try and get a family picture. Well, the family picture didn't work out, but I got this cute shot. It just captures her personality so much. She is a very strong willed little munchkin.

This is my daughter Ellie, and she just cracks me up. She has mastered going from a sitting position to her belly, so it is impossible to make her sit for any extended period of time. So I stuck her in her crib, and stood her up. She had this face, as if to be saying "WOH mom! I am standing!"

This is my good friend Kailen and her huband Dan. She is due September 20th with her first baby girl. Her name will be Julia Dawn. Kailen was nice enough to let me practice on her belly. Hopefully I will have a little baby girl in a few weeks to practice on as well. Enjoy!

My name is Emily and I am a 22 year old mother of a beautiful little girl. Her name is Eleanor Grace, but you will often here me refer to her as Ellie. She is the light of my life, and I never knew what love was until I had her. My husband's name is Eric, and he is a wonderful husband and Daddy. He adores his little girl more then anything. He is in school right now, working towards his marketing degree. He also works full time to support our family, so that I can stay home with our daughter.

In April of 2009, I bought a Canon Rebel XSi. I fell in love. I have been practicing my photography ever since. I am starting this blog to have a place to post my pictures for my friends and family to see.
